VIDEO: WALMART IN USA - Things that I found Interesting
Hello beautiful people out there!
This is a video I made to share with you all my Walmart shopping experience. In this video you can find what interesting things I found in Walmart. Now I am pretty sure that almost everyone will be knowing what a Walmart is. But for those you doesn't know, Walmart is basically a hypermarket cum discount department store, selling products from groceries to electronics, clothing to home decor -basically everything you name in one single roof.
Giving you an abstract of my video. First we are going to the parking area at Walmart. Usually Walmart has a free parking spot. But since this Walmart is located at the heart of the city, we need to take a ticket to park here. For the first two hours parking is free and for any time exceeding this limit, we are bound to pay the parking fees.
As I said earlier, Walmart is a hypermarket and therefore it will be quite boring to show each and every item on the rack. So I decided to show few items that I found interesting. Before we start, I like to mention that this is my first ever vlog. I personally feel that there is lot of room for improvement. I request everyone watching this video to feel free to write in the comment section below how you feel about my video and how I can improve.
So friends, listing down few interesting things I found in Walmart and my review on them
When it comes to biscuits, Oreo's are my favorite. Here I found many flavors that are not available in India. For example they has the limited edition of Oreo Fireworks with popping candy, Oreo pineapple and coconut flavor, Oreo Kettle corn flavor, Oreo Mint Flavor, Oreo Coconut flavor and Oreo big crunchy chocolate bar. Traditional snacks like cheese balls and strawberry flavored Twizzlers were there.
Next was the shoe section. Do not expect fashionable shoes at Walmart. They are not branded and is sold at price as low as 5$. They are more of like everyday use type. I am not sure about the quality of the shoes either. I personally has never bought shoes from Walmart. So I cant say anything about its durability. They sell travel size moisturizers, hand sanitizes, toiletries everything at 97c. There were also any chocolate for 98c which included famous brands like Reese's, Kit-Kat, M&Ms, sour patch and many more. I was also surprised to find few Indian groceries at Walmart. There were not many items but included everyday grocery products like chilly powder, coriander powder, ghee, Bru Coffee, some brands of rice and so on.
They have free health check up including body weight, blood pressure, diabetics risk test, health age assessment and vision screening. I decided to take vision screening and the result came out that I have a poor far sight vision or it means I have short sight. Looking at my result, I feel its high time I book an appointment with my eye specialist. I was able to send these results to my email id for further references.
There were a few good bag collection at around 25$. Some handbags from 13$. Some great collection of accessories from the company no boundaries. I even found our own bhindi. Here it is called body gems. Every item on this rack - from earrings to anklets to couple of rings - are priced at 4$. I was excited to see such vibrant colors in them.
Next I found some patriotic decorations for Memorial Day and July 4th. When I came to US, I observed that Americans show a lot of pride in their flag. They like to display their flag in many ways from decor to clothing. There were such products that brought out the red, white and blue colors. These are more common during patriotic holidays like memorial day and July 4th. I personally find these cute especially when kids and babies wear these.
There were some jumbo piggy bank for 10$. I have never seen such big coin box in my life. There were other coin bank in the shape of troll cartoon character, puppy, unicorn and elephant. I still remember the time when my sister gifted me a post office coin box. It has helped me develop the habit of savings when I was a kid.
It was almost time for us to leave. I know that i have not covered a lot of department like home decor, toys, electronics, cosmetics, clothing, books, furniture, fitness and many more. Walmart also has the facility of self checkout which I forgot to cover in my video. Self Checkout is really helpful when you are in a hurry and want to avoid the big queue in front of cashier.
Check out my video on my experience at Walmart. Hope that you will enjoy. Feel free to comment about your thoughts and your experience.
