This Is What The 10 Kids From Karan Johar Movies Looks Now!

1. Jibraan Khan a.k.a Krish from K3G

We remember Jibraan Khan as the child artist who played Krish - the son of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Khabhi Khushi Khabhi Gham. Now, he looks nothing like the cute boy who sang the national anthem for his mother in the movie. His latest photos will definitely make your jaw drop.

2. Maalvika Raaj a.k.a Poo from K3G
Well, everyone remember the little girl who pestered Jr Hrithik Roshan in Khabhi Khushi Gham movie, right? Yeah, we are talking about Maalvika Raaj who played Jr Kareena Kapoor in the movie. She has grown up to be a successful model and she has definetly grown hot just like in the movie.

3. Kavish Majmudar a.k.a Ladoo from K3G

While talking about Poo, we should definitely not miss the chubby kid who played Ladoo or Jr Hrithik Roshan in K3G. Kavish Majmudar, after assisting in the movie Luck, has been seen in various other movies like Main Tera Hero and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. He even had a moment with Hrithik Roshan during an Indian Super League football match. The photo also had Varun Dhawan posing with Senior and Junior Rohan Raichand!

4. Arjan Aujila a.k.a Sam from My Name is Khan

The child who played the role of Kajol's son, Sameer (Sam), in the movie is definitely a grown up now. His Instagram account is filled with his good looks. Here is what he looks like now.
5. Tanay Chheda a.k.a Jr Rizwan Khan from My Name is Khan

Tanay Chheda played the role of young Rizwan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan character, in My Name Is Khan. He was first seen in SRK's Don and has also been in movies like Taare Zameen Par and even Slum Dog Millionare.

6. Jhanak Shukla a.k.a Jia from Kal Ho Na Ho

How can we forget the cute little Jia from Kal Ho Na Ho who played the little sister of Preity Zinta? She has moved us to tears with her performance in the movie and now, she has grown more cuter than ever.

7. Athit Naik a.k.a Shiv from Kal Ho Na Ho

Talking about Naina's siblings from Kal Ho Na Ho, how can we forget the brother who "doesn't know how to play football like others, but definitely knows to irritate like other boys"? Yes, we are talking about Athit Naik who plays Shiv, Preity Zinta's brother in the movie. He is currently a successful filmmaker and one of his short films even made it to the Cannes Film Festival! Woah, what an inspiration!

8. Ahsaas Channa a.k.a Arjun from Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna

The Child who played SRK's and Preity Zinta's son Arjun, has grown up to become a beautiful young lady. Yeah, you read it right. She has played various roles in her career as child artist, like Vaastu Shastra, My Friend Ganesha, Phoonk and many other Television programs.

9. Parzan Dastur a.k.a the silent kid from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai & K3G

Parzan Dastur is remembered by Indian audience as the "silent kid" who counts the stars in the sky in both the Karan Johar movies - Kuch Kuch Hota Hai & K3G. He has also acted in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, many commercials and has given the voice for Hum in the movie, Hum Tum.

10. Sana Saeed a.k.a Jr Anjali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Everyone was shocked to see this chubby little girl transform into a sexy babe when she re-appeared in the big screen through the movie Student of The Year. Though she plays a small part in the movie, she was recognized and appreciated by the audience.

These "kids" are still popular for their roles in Karan Johar's Dharma productions movies and people recognize them for that. As they  grew, there is no doubt that they are creating fame and fans out of their own talents. They all have come to the industry to stay, no doubts!

Junooniyat : So Cliché

This week's release Junooniyat, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, is another inclusion in the creepy love stories of Bollywood. The movie focus on a love story between a Captain of the Indian Army, Jahaan (Pulkit Samrat)  and an adventurous Punjabi kudi Suhaani Kapoor (Yami Gautam).

Their first meeting happens when the heroine does swimming in a restricted area because its "adventurous" and the hero helps her from getting drowned. No wait, but she doesn't seems to be drowning or in danger when help comes. But why was there a distress call in the first place. No one knows. Anyways the over smart heroine irritates us in the following scene when colonel ask her questions. She is detained in the army camp until investigations about her is complete. Suhaani also wants an apology from the captain for reason I'm still finding. For helping her, maybe? Colonel is so generous that he invites her to the army's official Christmas party. There after a drink of brandy, which according to colonel is not alcohol but a lifestyle, she dances with the hero and falls in love with him. They separate. They meet again, plays holi and again gets seperated. This goes on for some time.

Suhaani's family comes to know about the love and is totally against it just because Jahaan is an army man. Having lost three family members, Suhaani's father doesn't want history to be repeated on his daughter's life. Jahaan was not willing to leave his army for her and thus gets separated again.

The film has some of the worst scenes ever made in the history of Bollywood. There is a scene where Suhaani tries to escape from the train, which goes to her college organised winter camp, with the help of her friends who distracts the teacher by giving Aloo ka paratha. Really? Wasn't there a better option?

There is another scene where Jahaan and other army officers rescue a family from a car drowned in snowfall and the family invites only the captain to the family function. And that too by taking leave. The person turns out to be Suhaani's fiance. (One could easily guess!). And in the following scenes we see the fiance hailing from Canada shares his griefs and doubts only with Jahaan, whom he met two days back rather with a bunch of friends and family members he has.

The story-line is undoubtedly predictable. The chemistry between the leads doesn't help in saving the movie from being a disaster. The music is not up to the mark and is being unnecessarily included every 15 minutes. The camera captures some beautiful views of Kashmir and Punjab. Coming to acting, I feel Pulkit Samrat did a better job than Yami Gautam. Yami Gautam is beautiful as usual but her charachter Suhaani fails to impress us.

Junooniyat is a movie about a boring love story that will never exist in this present world.

My rating is 0.5 out of 5

Do Lafzon Ki Kahani : Too Much Melodrama

I wish the film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani was as exiting as it showed in trailers! I expected an intense  and emotional love story from the trailer. Unfortunately the movie has disappointed me in every single aspect. The story is about a former Mixed Martial Arts fighter Sooraj (Randeep Hooda) who falls in love with a visually impaired girl Jenny (Kajal Agarwal) and is ready to risk his life so that his love can afford the expensive eye operation. The movie is the remake of 2011 Korean movie Always, which was also remade in Kannada as Boxer in 2015.

The screenplay is too slow and the dialogues are not upto the mark. Every scene in the movie takes you to the 80s and 90s movies (obviously, the flop love stories) and its bitter to watch. Kajal Aggarwal even after her nine years in Indian cinema has still not learned about “real” acting. As typical Indian movie blind girl character, Jenny also has beautiful unblemished eyes, tries different hairstyles, does slight makeups, all when she is staying all alone. It just reminded me of Kajols character in Fanaa, only difference Kajol acted really well! The character of Jenny is so irritating and over smart that actually makes us confused what made the ruff and tough Sooraj melt his heart for her!

When you leave the theatre you realize that  so many questions were unanswered. Like in the beginning Sooraj says that he works day and night because he has to clear some debts. It is latter mentioned that he was taking care of a victim who burned himself while he was trying to escape from Sooraj. No wait, What? If he had to take care of that person why did he go to beat him in the first place. Ok, maybe his mind just changed just like that. But worst part is that this particular story somehow and somewhere gets lost and is never talked about.

The blindness of Jenny is unconvincing. There is a scene where she presses the light button on and off. For what, no one knows! Jenny watches a horrible soap opera, not in her apartment (which can easily afford a TV) but at some random security booth. She not only watches but is also obsessed and even mopes seeing it. And she even count the days with the episode of the show! I totally didn't understand why Sooraj who risked his life to bring back Jenny’s eyesight avoids her completely after the operation. Or did I just miss something while I was battling with myself trying to control my sleep?

The two things that helps you survive from the two hour yawn is Randeep Hooda and the song Jeena Sikha Diya . I feel sorry for Randeep Hooda that he has worked so hard for a movie that did not deserve his talented performance. The song Jeena Sikha Diya reminds us that its supposed to be a love story. Love never hurts…Love heals” goes the tagline of the movie. Yeah its true, Love does not hurt but movies like this will definitely hurt. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani means a story of two words. And the two words are “TOO BORING”

FAN Movie Review

FAN was one of the much awaited movie of 2016. The King Khan's double role and Maneesh Sharma's direction (whose previous works such as Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, Sudh Desi Romance were well appreciated) were factors that added hype for the movie.

The movie starts in Delhi where Gaurav Chadana (Shah Rukh Khan), a die hard fan of Aryan Khanna (also played by Shah Rukh Khan) wins a local talent show by imitating the scenes and songs of his idol Aryan Khanna. He decides to show the Best Actor trophy to his super star on his birthday. Gaurav travels to Mumbai without a train ticket and stays in room number 205 at Delight Hotel just like his superstar Aryan Khanna did when he first reached Mumbai.

Gaurav reaches Aryan Khanna's residence (which appears to be Mannat - the actual residence of Shah Rukh Khan). However he could hardly show the trophy to his idol in between the thousand of fans just like him and the security guards in front of Mannat . Disappointed Gaurav watches a news that Sid Kapoor, a fellow actor, has plans to take legal action against Aryan Khanna for slapping him at his birthday party. This makes the fan angry and manages to get into Sid Kapoor's cabin and threatens him for an apology to Aryaan Khanna. The Fan records the apology and uploads in the internet. When Aryan Khanna comes to know about the fact behind the apology video from his personal assistant Sunania, he considers it as a crime. Aryaan Khanna sends his fan to jail where he is mercifully beaten. Aryan meets Gaurav secretly in jail and declares that he is not a fan. Gaurav is shattered and heartbroken. He spends two days in jail silently and returns home as an entirely new person. He burns all the photos and wallpapers he had of Aryan Khanna and confirms himself that the superstar will make an apology to him because people like him are the reason behind the success of Aryan Khanna. This is where the real story starts (and where the excitement ended for me)

Being a SRK fan I was eager to watch this movie. It was the movie about every individual who idolizes the superstar. The movie conveys that fandom is acceptable but extreme obsession is dangerous and is never encouraged by anyone. The first half of the movie is brilliantly crafted. It makes us glued to the movie. Unfortunately the second half did not impress me that much. As much as the first half was good, the second half was that much worse. First half is realistic and interesting whereas second half becomes fake and boring. The fan who calls himself Junior Aryan Khanna , were given a slightly different look with projected teeth in the first half. In the second half somehow Junior Aryan Khanna manages to look exactly like the Senior and nobody identifies that he is fake. The second half actually disturbed me because of the fact that too many unrealistic things where happening. May be I was disturbed because the movie has created a high bench mark in its first one hour and dropped drastically in the remaining movie.

One thing we have to admit is that SRK has given a mind-blowing performance,  especially the character of Gaurav (the fan) is portrayed very well. The body language and mannerism of Gaurav is absolutely fresh and different from normal SRK character . I even doubted that it was the Shah Rukh Khan itself or not. The movie is about SRK vs SRK and its exciting to watch. The movie would have been brilliant only if the second half had the same standard the initial part of the movie had!

I would go for 2.5 out of 5. (Average)
