Joey Tribbiani is a fictional character from the famous TV sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S that aired in NBC from 1994 to 2004. The character was portrayed by the actor Matt LeBlanc. Joey Tribbiani was one of the character played in the show, while others being Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Rachel Green, Chandler Bing and Phoebe Buffay. Joey Tribbiani is loyal, caring and protective of his friends. He is a struggling actor, food lover and womaniser who gets lucky in all dates than rest of his friends.

Here's a list of things I felt that we should learn from Joey Tribbiani about life and how to deal with it.


1. Be Yourself 

                Just love yourself. If you love to eat - eat. If you don't like sharing your food - Scream! It does not matter what others think about you - no, not at all!

2. A belief that everything is going to be okay 

               Self motivating and self assurance are the best ways to de-stress in life. No negative force can harm you if you are strong from inside.                                                                                             

3. Encourage and motivate others in your style 

                 Phoebe once said to Joey "You have always looked out for me and shared your wisdom". I completely agree to it. Joey was always there for his friends (more than others) to give out his advice.

 

4. Overcome your fears by facing it

                  Sometimes Joey speaks out the wisest things ever. This was one of them. Of course, if you need to escape the fear you have to go through it.

5.Believe in yourself 
               Its not what others think about you that matters, its what you think that matters everything. If you think that you can do it and have the confidence to prove it, you can do anything you dream.

6. Never allow others criticism to over shadow you

                Criticisms are good to an extend if it encourages you. But if you feel that the criticism has nothing to do with what you feel then don't give a shit about it.

7. Teaches how to face life's problem - Like this!

               There are trillions of things in this world. You may be going through a lot of problem. But its you who have to decide whether its the problem that should be controlling you or is it you who should control the problems.

8. Somethings are worth sacrificing 

                Sometimes its worth sacrificing things that means the world to you, for people whom you love the  most. Remember the time Joey fell for Rachel, and then he was ready to sacrifice her for Ross, just because he cared for his friendship with both Ross and Rachel?

9. Discover new things everyday 

                Explore your hidden talents each day. Learn something new everyday irrespective of the fact that its small or big. And be proud of your achievements, just like Joey! LOL!

10. Enjoy the little things in life 

                     This is one of the characteristics that pull me towards liking Joey more than the others. He just love the way life is. Even if he has his own problems with his career, he does not forget to live the life to the fullest.

11.Stay childish

                 Everyone says "Grow up, Be Matured" and so on.  But Joey proved that its ok to be childish.

 12. Never quit on your dreams

Joey was a struggling actor during most of the season. He has faced failure from the top. But that does not make him quit on his dreams. He has been rejected in auditions many times but still he never stop trying.

Thank you Joey for teaching us that life is simple. Thank you for making us realize that its we who make the life complicated and no one else is responsible for it.
